2020 was an unforgettable year. A seminal event. Simultaneously tragic and powerful, and apparently, reluctant to leave. A world-wide common experience regardless of one’s culture, religion, race, age and gender.
We chose to set out on an experimental journey and illuminate this period, this “couch year” by artistic means. To reflect together with the audience, hoping to gather provisions for the road. This resulted in a performative portrait, which broke in the encounter with time, was shattered in the prism of the plague, and emerged through seven women at different decades of their lives. An attempt to leave a monument to the voice of femininity at the current time, femininity striving to see the opportunity for growth within the crisis and wonder about the intersection between life and art at a time of change.

Through the work we examine the implications of the period and respond to it by creating an exciting female manifesto, offering a wide perspective on the time of plague. A collection of female confessions that take place in parallel with the one story, the super-story, and coalesce into a course of a lifetime.
It is a theatrical event that deals with the visually and uniquely complex content, which seeks to break through the boundaries of theater, we invite the viewer to wander among a web of video and audio testimonies, examine the pulse of time through them and to wonder about the essence of the performative presence in the 21st century, in an age of epidemics.

Efrat’s gaze can enter your heads too, excite, sharpen, surprise and inspire. The "gaze" of Efrat and five other wonderful actresses (one of them is the excellent Ora - Efrat's daughter).

On the one hand they are individuals, and on the other hand they are all one.
On the one hand it is alienating, and on the other hand the most touching there is.

בימי כתר היא פורטרט פרפורמטיבי, שנשבר במפגש עם הזמן, התנפץ במנסרת המגפה, ובקע החוצה דרך 7 נשים בעשורים שונים לחייהן. יצירה המבקשת לראות את ההזדמנות לצמיחה בתוך השבר ולתהות על נקודת המפגש בין החיים ליצירה בתקופה של שינוי. בימי כתר מזמינה את הצופה לנוע בתוך מארג עדויות וידאו וסאונד ולבחון דרכן את דופק הזמן.

2020 היתה שנה בלתי נשכחת. אירוע מכונן. טרגי ועוצמתי בו בזמן, שמסתבר שמסרב לעזוב. אירוע אותו כולנו, בני ובנות האדם, חוונו ועדיין חוות בעוצמה בלתי רגילה ללא הבדל תרבות, דת, גזע, גיל ומין. אי אפשר היה להתחמק ממנו. אנחנו בחרנו לצאת למסע אקספרימנטלי ולהאיר את התקופה הזו, את אותה "שנת ספה" באמצעים אמנותיים. לערער ולהרהר עם הצופים, בשאיפה לקחת צידה לדרך.
באמצעות היצירה אנחנו מבקשות לבחון את השלכות התקופה ולהגיב לה ביצירת מניפסט נשי מרגש, המציע פרספקטיבה רחבה על תקופת המגפה. אסופת וידויים נשיים המתרחשים במקביל לסיפור האחד, העל-סיפור, ומתקבצים למהלך חיים.
מדובר באירוע תיאטרלי המתמודד עם התכנים המורכבים באופן ויזואלי וייחודי, המבקש לפרוץ את גבולות התאטרון, ולתהות על מהות הנוכחות הפרפורמטיבית במאה ה21, בעידן של מגפות.
